Our History

Our founder, Doug Cole, is a visionary leader and built a  culture that encourages continued growth and education, commitment to and recognition of our employees, and a tireless dedication to an exceptional guest experience.

A former barber, Doug first opened our doors in 1979 and has been committed to supporting our teams in their learning and growth ever since. 

Doug is still an integral part of the Cole’s business and legacy, and we are proud to have him at the helm of the incredible organization he has worked to build.

Our executive team has a combined tenure of 150 years; this team and company is truly our family and our life’s work, and we care deeply about our collective success and about each individual who works with us.
