Spring is here, and everywhere you turn on social media there are new tips and tricks on how to “spring clean” your home. But it’s a great time of year to give your haircare and skincare products a spring clean, too!
To begin, pull out all of your makeup, skincare, and haircare products. Is there anything you don’t use anymore? If so, pass it on and make room for a new favorite.
Expired products? Yep. Time to toss.
Once you’ve pared down what you have, think about what’s going to be most important for your skin this season. I always start with sunscreens with active ingredients to protect from UVA and UVB rays. It’s important to refresh your sunscreen regularly, ideally every six months.

Noticing a few breakouts, or maybe thinking your night crème is a little too heavy now that winter is over? For me, spring brings about a change in my skin.
