Wedding Day Beauty Made Easy

You got engaged. Congratulations! We’re so excited for you, and we know you’ve probably got a lot on your mind about your wedding, whether it’s coming up soon or in a year or two. Is your beauty routine one of the pressing concerns? If so, we’re here to help. We know that tying the knot is one of the most important days of your life and that you want to look AMAZING when you walk down the aisle…not to mention in all those Instagram photos your friends will be snapping.

That’s where we come in. Our teams are more than happy to help you create the look you want for your big day; we’ve done this before, so we know just how to make you feel as relaxed, happy and beautiful as you should on your wedding day and beyond.

Figure Out Your Vibe

We know you’ve got a Pinterest board or favorite blogs all about weddings, so you may have some idea of what you want to look like on your wedding day. This is helpful! Once you figure out your wedding vibe and venue, that will help us determine what your look should be—red carpet glam? Boho? Down home and casual? Beach elopement? This all helps us shape your beauty look together.

Meet With Your Designer

Once you settle on a vibe for your big day, book a consultation with your favorite Cole’s designer and we’ll chat about the plan for your hair. Perhaps you want to transition your color and go lighter or darker—that could be a long process, so we should start taking steps in the right direction as soon as possible so we don’t damage your hair. You may want grow out your hair, or add extensions. You’ll also want to book your trial run and wedding day hair appointment as soon as you can. A trial run is so important for both the bride and the stylist to agree upon a final look or try a few options before deciding on The One. It reduces stress on the wedding day itself and everyone is much happier. If you need hair for your bridesmaids and Mom, we can help you with that too.

As for hair color, plan to get a trim about a month or so before your wedding date, and chat with your stylist about the best time to touch up your color. You may also want to book a deep conditioning treatment or a clear gloss to bump up shine and softness for the big day.

Get Your Skin in Shape

One thing to remember when it comes to your skin is to do things slowly! We recommend booking facials, peels, microderm and more far in advance so your esthetician can see how your skin reacts; you wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle with redness or bumps, would you? Book your first one about nine months out and we’ll go from there to get the glow you want. It’s also important to drink a lot of water and continue a skincare routine that works for you. Be gentle and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! We LOVE Eminence Organics skincare products for a healthy, natural glow and we’re more than happy to help you find the right ones for your skin type. A chemical peel will give you a fresh glow and help rapidly reduce discoloration, so a series over a few months may be just the ticket for your bridal beauty look.

Love Your Body

We want to care for you from top to toe; we offer full body waxing, manicures to show off that ring, and the ultimate bridal must-have: massages! It’s so important to relax and take time for yourself before the ceremony, and that relaxation will show on your face as you walk down the aisle. Grab your mom or your maid of honor and treat yourselves, or schedule massages for yourself and your partner as a fun way to unwind before you tie the knot. We have a feeling it will make your wedding day jitters disappear.

And best of luck! We’re always here to help if you need some more one-on-one consultation.

  1. Hello! I’m getting married on Thursday, December 10th, 2020 and am looking for a salon to do my bridal hair style that morning. I am not looking to change my colour or have it cut, just the style. I read on your site that a consultation is encouraged beforehand; I was wondering how far in advance you’d prefer that appointment to be, and how to go about scheduling both the consultation and wedding day style appointment. Is there anything I should bring for the consultation, aside from picture ideas? Thank you!

    1. Hi Katharine! We’d recommend booking the consultation immediately—you can call the front desk and schedule your appointments. Photos would be great, and if you can bring anything you’ll be wearing in your hair for your wedding day (like a veil), that would be helpful as well. Thanks!
