Six Beauty Resolutions You Should Keep in 2018

A new year is the ideal time to make a change. Maybe you’re thinking about fitness goals, or eating better or spending less time on your phone. January 1 is a great time to do that, but don’t limit your resolutions to just eating habits or gym time—make some beauty resolutions too! After all, they’re a little more fun, aren’t they?!

Try something new.

Have you been dreaming of dyeing your hair pink or cutting bangs? Do it! Make a resolution to do something you’ve always wanted to, whether it’s a fanciful dye job or that pixie cut you’ve been Pinning for years. We’ll be there to hold your hand and help shape your dream look into something you’ll love every day.

Cut off your split ends.

You’ll feel so much better when you just schedule that haircut and say goodbye to all the damaged ends you’ve been trying to fix at home. Trust us—just do it and your hair will feel so much healthier, not to mention look great when you style it. Don’t you love spending time at Cole’s with your favorite stylist anyway? This is basically just an excuse to spend more time at the salon.

Buy a new lipstick.

We’re just saying, treating yourself to a new lipstick always seems to boost confidence and make the day feel a little bit brighter. Stop your bad beauty habits.

Make time for yourself.

Sometimes, we get so caught up helping others out that we lose touch with ourselves. If your schedule is loaded with meetings, kid activities, duties at home, and more, try to make a point to slow down and spend time with yourself at least once a week. It could be a yoga class, a manicure, a blowout, or just an hour wandering Target. You’ll reconnect with YOU, which is so important in your crazy-busy life.

Relax.

Getting a monthly massage or facial will make you feel a thousand times better and remind you to slow down and relax. It’ll also enhance your glow and relax tired muscles…so it’s a win-win situation as far as we’re concerned!
