Wish you could apply your makeup at home like a professional makeup artist? Looking to perfect the smoky eye or contour like a pro? Want to learn fail-proof techniques and products that will help make your mornings faster and easier? With a makeup lesson service at Cole’s Salon (and some practice, of course)—you can accomplish all of those things!
Let’s walk through what our makeup lessons are all about, what to expect during your appointment, and why you should give it a try!
This hands-on, one-on-one experience will show you makeup techniques and products that are just right for you. No matter your makeup-applying experience, daily routine, skin type, or beauty goals—we can help identify the best makeup plan for you, and then teach you how to master it at home! This service is available at all Cole’s locations and is provided by our team of trained estheticians/makeup artists.
Who It’s For
This service is perfect for anyone who is interested in makeup! That could be for the person wanting to perfect a certain technique (like those pesky cat eyes), prepping for a big event, or for teens who are just dipping their toes into the world of makeup. We also love this service for those who are feeling like their skin is changing and therefore makeup just isn’t lasting as long or sitting on the face differently.
What to Expect
We start the appointment with a quick consultation and ask plenty of questions. Because it’s not just about what kind of look you want to achieve, it’s also about your life; how much time you take to get ready in the morning; what your concerns are and what you like best about yourself.
Then it’s going over products and techniques, and then we apply the makeup. During my makeup lessons I typically will apply to one side of the face and then I will have my guest apply to the other side of the face so they are getting the hands-on experience and can ask questions as we go along. We also often go over some of our fail-poof products such as our Jane Iredale contour kit that makes at-home application easy peasy.

Hello, I am interested in having a makeup tutorial to learn how to do my own bridal makeup. How much does a makeup tutorial cost and does it include any makeup supplies or credits to purchase any?
Hi Hailey! Please feel free to call one of our salons to book a consultation with one of our estheticians. We look forward to serving you.
