The long, cold winter is finally (maybe?) over and we’ve got spring sun and fun on the brain. As soon as April hits, it seems like big events really kick into action — we’re talking bachelorette parties, baby showers, prom, graduation, and weddings. You know, the big stuff! These momentous occasions are pretty high-profile whether or not you’re the person of honor or the bride, but so if you’ve got a few get-fancy occasions on your calendar for the next few months, here’s what we recommend from a service POV so you can look your best. (You know there are going to be tons of photos and Instagram posts happening!)
For prom and weddings:
The Oribe Renewal Remedy
When to do it: Whenever you stop in for a cut, color, or style.
Why you should splurge: Updos, ringlets, and messy buns require strong, healthy hair, and healthy hair starts with a Renewal Remedy service. Choose between Smoothing, Strengthening, or Color Prevention to help strengthen, protect, and hydrate your hair so it’s in optimal shape for your big day, whether that’s a grand march or a walk down the aisle. Remedy services are $35 and can be added on to your cut, color, or style in no time flat.
Dermaplane with O2 Treatment
When to do it: A week or so before your event.
Why you should splurge: Dermaplaning is an exfoliation method that uses a medical grade blade to scrape off peach fuzz and dead skin to reveal a more radiant, glowing complexion. Not only does it bring a new glow to your skin, it also helps products and services penetrate better — and makes your makeup go on so smoothly, it looks airbrushed. Pair it with an O2 Oxygen Treatment to brighten, smooth, and reduce the look of fine lines.
When to do it: A few weeks before to DIY or the day of.
Why you should splurge: If you prefer not to spend hours watching YouTube tutorials, book a makeup application with one of our pros instead! We’ll help you choose the perfect look for your prom night, from natural and glowing to smoky and sultry. If you’d like to learn techniques to replicate on your own, our artists will teach you the basics, but if you’d rather sit back and relax pre-prom, book a service on the day of too.
For bachelorette parties:
When to do it: A day or two before you leave.
Why you should splurge: If you’re jetting off to Scottsdale, Nashville, or wine country for your bachelorette, get your nails in tip-top shape for those ring selfies. Go for a pretty in pink neutral or a bold red or burgundy as you get prepped to tie the knot and celebrate with your crew.
Lash lift & tint
When to do it: Shortly before your event.
Why you should splurge: A lash lift and tint gives you flirty, fluttery lashes without having to take the time for a full set of extensions. The service gives your natural lashes a boost for a bright-eyed look while you’re bar-hopping or enjoying the sun.
To welcome the season:
A trim and color refresh
When to do it: Anytime!
Why you should splurge: Feeling a little pasty and pallid after long months spent indoors? Nothing says “refresh” like saying goodbye to your dead ends and dull color. You know how good you feel when you step out of the salon with a fresh cut and highlights or all-over color, so stop by your go-to Cole’s Salon to spring into the season.

I am getting married on 7/2/22. I already have hair services booked through another company but I was wondering about your make-up wedding-day services for the bride, the bridesmaids want to do their own make-up, but I just want to make sure it’s perfect for pictures. What are your prices for this? Bride-only?
I was also wanting to schedule a Balayage appointment in June so my color will be looking fresh.
Thanks for any help. This would be my first time at Coles.
