It’s that time of year again—our Annual Appreciation Sale is here! For you, it’s the perfect way to stock up on your favorite products. For us, it’s the perfect way to say thank you and show appreciation for your support and loyalty over the years.
ICYMI, our Annual Appreciation Sale goes like this—stop into any Cole’s Salon location between September 23 and October 31, purchase your favorite product, and receive a second identical product for half price*! This is the absolute best way to get more of what you love. And as I enter my 20th year working at Cole’s Salon, I’ve picked up a few sale pro-tips—the “Oh, I wish I knew that!” kind of tips.
So without further ado, here are 10 insider tips and tricks to make the most out of our biggest sale of the year:
1. The sale is not limited to a certain product line or type.
More often than not, people are surprised to learn that our sale is not just for hair products. That’s right, the Annual Appreciation Sale applies to hair, skin, body, nail, AND makeup products! So use this opportunity to get the things you know you are always using—like facial cleansers, shampoos and conditioners, moisturizers, serums, masks, mascaras, lip balms, lipsticks, hand and body lotions, and foundations. Think of what you used today—this is the time to get more of what you want!
2. Stock up on holiday gifts.
Before we know it, the holidays will be knocking on our doors and we’ll be looking for thoughtful gifts for our kids’ teachers, work team, stocking stuffers, gift exchanges, and hostess gifts. I have seen it happen too many times when one guest is stockpiling the hand lotions or lip balms—announcing they have all their stocking stuffers taken care of—and someone else watching says, “Why didn’t I think of that?” Use this opportunity to get ahead of your holiday shopping!
3. Shop with a friend.
Some items are stock-up no-brainers—those items you use every day like tried and trusted shampoos, conditioners, and style products. But what about those items that you just aren’t sure about? It’s fun watching friends in the salon talk about why they use a certain product and why they like it. Come with a friend and get excited about something new to try, or do your holiday shopping together!
4. Mix and match your makeup.
Yes, the fine print says that when you purchase your favorite product at Cole’s Salon, you’ll receive a second *identical product* for half price. But here’s an insider tip—the one product that does not have to be completely identical is makeup! When it comes to makeup, as long as you are getting the same type and brand of makeup (like two lipsticks, two eyeshadows, or two blushes), they can be different shades. This is perfect for when you need two different shades of foundations to match the seasons—you can get one foundation that matches your skin now, and one that’s a shade lighter or darker for when you’re done with the first.
5. Scheduling an appointment is a guaranteed don’t-miss-the-sale strategy.
Call your favorite Cole’s Salon location right now (or go online) to book an appointment any time before November 1. If you’re in the salon, you can’t miss the sale! Plus, it’s an awesome time of year for that new fall look you’ve been waiting for.
6. Prep for your winter/spring vacation.
Think travel sizes now instead of the week before your trip. We have lots of travel-sized options—grab two, four or even six of your favorites so you’re ready for anything during the year. You know you always need them for other random events that come up, too!
7. If you can’t make it to the salon during the sale—we got you.
Some guests mention how they were sad they missed the sale last time, or how their schedule just got too busy and couldn’t make it in. Don’t let that happen to you! It’s ok if you can’t make it in—as long as you call in and pay for your product order over the phone before the sale ends, you will get the sale prices. We can hold your product until it is convenient for you to come pick them up!

Get the lashes you’ve always wanted! With long, full lashes being the latest craze, come stock up on one of our lash enhancement products. By getting two, you’re sure to have amazing lashes that will last you until your spring vacation!

If you’re like me, it’s easy to get hooked on the same products, so seeing and hearing from professionals on why they like products for themselves, might be the same reason you like them as well!
10. Stop in several times.
You have more than five weeks to stop in and save on your favorite products. That means you can stop in two or three times to get everything you need!
