Five Things That Brought Us Joy This Year

What can we possibly say about the year 2020 that hasn’t already been said? We’re pretty sure we don’t need to remind you of all the ups and downs, but amidst the chaos, we’ve found moments of joy, togetherness and gratitude—all things that are perfect to celebrate as we begin to think about what’s next in 2021. Sure, it’s a little sappy, but we can’t possibly begin to thank you enough for standing by us as we adjusted to new safety and cleanliness measures, social distancing requirements and more. Hopefully soon we’ll be able to enjoy time spent together safely again.

Without further ado, here are five very important things that brought us lots of joy and happiness in 2020.

Online Ordering and Curbside Shopping

Sure, it was an adjustment from leisurely browsing the shelves and picking something that strikes your fancy in the moment, but updated shopping measures, like online orders and curbside pickups, changed the game in a positive way this year — especially in the early days of COVID-19, when we weren’t sure what was next. If you stopped by to refill your fave shampoo or try a new lipstick, thank you! We have to admit, it was kind of fun playing elves!

What would Cole’s be without the premium products and services we offer? We only sell products we really, truly believe in and use ourselves, and are happy to make continued recommendations! We’re proud to continue offering everything from spa services (with increased safety measures, of course) to hair color, so you can feel like yourself in a world that’s anything but normal. We want our salons to be a place of solace and relaxation for you, and we hope to have done that this year.

Whether you visited us for a massage to melt away your COVID cares or decided now was the time for a drastic haircut, you made a difference in our lives. We’re so honored to serve these great communities and generations of families; we’ve become part of your family traditions, and nothing could make us happier.   2. I’m a long time customer of Sarah B (nail tech) and Tina (hair). Not only are they both excellent at their skill, they stay up to date, work well with other team members and set an environmental attitude that is always pleasant. The front desk team make that job look easy and are so friendly and helpful. I drive 15 miles to Coles in Burnsville, and drive by another Coles, but MY store is in Burnsville. Thanks for all you do to support your team Doug. It matters.

  4. I don’t know how my family and I could of gone through all this without such hard work and determination of Danielle Rabe!!! I’ve been her client for about 4 years now and my entire family sees her. My husband has never in his entire life had a hair stylist he saw more than once. Danielle is officially his stylist for over 6 months now! She has gone above and beyond this past year. I have shared tears with her! I have laughed so often with her, she feels like family as does Coles. Well you are half family I guess. It’s bee so great seeing Tim and his big smile, even through that mask!

Unfortunately the costs of haircuts and color and high lights is getting way out of hand for cost-I read your last mail which said you needed to raise costs but the cost is getting quite prohibiting to use your salon. So from my point of view I will probably need to find a different place to go after price shopping around. Your prices are quite disappointing as going to your Cole’s salon in Savage for years.
