It’s finally time to tear off those masks and show your bright, beautiful smile to the world! If you’re like most people, you’ve probably had your poppy lip colors in the back of your makeup drawer, just waiting until they can finally make their way back onto your lips and into the public eye.
Today, I’m sharing a couple of lip combo treatments that I am loving for summer. I have been really into layering lip liners, lipsticks and glosses. And you can get all of these products at any Cole’s location!
Here are two of my favorite Aveda and Jane Iredale combos:
Liner / Stick
Aveda Pure Nourishment Lip Liner has great blendable pigment. Lip liner sometimes gets a bad rap for how it was used back in the 80s—but today’s use is oh-so-gorg. It can help give the appearance of fuller lips, and help keep your lipstick from bleeding outside the lines of your natural lip line. Pro tip: Choose a liner one shade darker than your lipstick shade. I suggest Aveda Pure Nourishment lipstick to layer on top of your lip liner—it’s got a great, buttery feel, and lasts a long time!
Crayon / Gloss
If you haven’t checked out Jane Iredale’s Play On Lip Crayons yet, I suggest doing so ASAP! It has a creamy formula, and stays put all on its own—without a liner. It also has moisturizing ingredients to leave your lips soft and supple. Add Aveda Lip Gloss on top, which will instantly smooth any lines and give your lips a plumper look. The gloss is very lightweight and comfortable—no stickiness or goo!
