Jet setting out of this winter weather? We’re envious! As Minnesotans, we know it can be hard to endure the dry and cold air for so long without a break. No matter where you’re headed (or for how long), you don’t need to say bon voyage to looking great. You can travel light AND still feel like you have all your beauty needs with this jet setter’s checklist.
Sunscreen
Sunscreen is a *must* if you’re vacationing somewhere tropical. My favorite sunscreen go-to is the Eminence Organics Tropical Vanilla Day Cream with SPF 32—it smells delicious, leaves your skin feeling silky and smooth, and protects against harmful UVA/UVB rays. And if you want to add some color, Jane Iredale’s Dream Tint with SPF 15 protects my skin and evens out my skin tone. Win-win!
Don’t forget about SPF for your lips—they can get burned, too! My all-time fave lippie with SPF is the IMAGE MD Lip Enhancement with SPF 15. It is extremely hydrating and leaves your lips looking like you have a gloss on. Perfect for those winter vacay selfies!
Nourished and Styled Hair
Whether I’m relaxing by the pool, taking a trip to the beach, or just driving around with my windows down—warm-weather hair protection is a must. I feel better about letting my hair down and having some fun in the sun with Oribe’s Shampoo and Conditioner for Beautiful Color. These two products have the highest UV protection so it helps my color from fading, which is a big concern for me!
I want my hair to look good, too! Vacation time for me is all about beach-waved hair. The products I use to get this look are Bumble and bumble’s Surf Infusion Spray and Oribe’s Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray. Both of these products give me texture, volume and movement—no matter where I’m at or what I’m doing.
Skincare
The most important things to remember to pack are your skincare products! Good skin never goes out of style and I love taking care of my skin.
