Last month, Desi from Cole’s Salon Apple Valley and I were fortunate to represent Cole’s at the Bb. University razoring class in New York City. Going in, I was excited and nervous and not sure what to expect. I also admittedly wasn’t a huge fan of the razor cut. But now, I feel more confident than even with a razor and am eager to use the new techniques on clients of all hair types and lengths.
After two intense days of learning the art of the razor cut—here are my three main takeaways:
I’m always amazed that after years of doing hair, I can still learn completely new things and continue to feel inspired. It’s humbling, but also enormously satisfying to feel your passion reignite and fall in love with what you do all over again.
