Polishing Our Skills at the Premiere Orlando Beauty Show

Posted by: Sarah Burns

Last month, our lead nail techs from all Cole’s Salon locations attended the Premiere Orlando Beauty Show in Orlando, Florida—the largest beauty industry trade show in the country that brings together all things professional beauty under one roof at the Orange County Convention Center.

More than 60,000 beauty professionals from all 50 states and countries worldwide attended, and through three days of live demonstrations, product launches and education from celebrity artists, we were given so many reasons to stay in love with this industry! The show also provides a chance for us to connect with other licensed beauty industry professionals, manufacturers, educators and industry leaders. Check out my top four takeaways below!

Beauty Show Takeaways

  1. Sampling products from Eminence Organic Skincare that will allow us to create new signature manicure and pedicure services that change seasonally.
  2. Connecting with our friends at IMAGE Skincare whose products we recently started using in all our classic nail services.
  3. Expanding our foot care knowledge at two classes—one focused on best practices and at-risk clients put on by the North American School of Podology and the other was a reflexology class by the Institute of Reflexology.
  4. Keeping up on our sanitation practices at a class presented by Doug Schoon, a scientist by trade who has been in the beauty industry for more than 30 years, researching and teaching.
