Ask the Beauty Expert: How Do I Get My Brows to Behave?

Big, natural eyebrows are definitely in—there’s no denying that. But when you’re blessed with *extra* full brows that have a mind of their own, how do you get them to behave and stay down? That is this month’s “Ask the Beauty Expert” question!

First of all, that is a great problem to have with quick and simple solutions! There are two things you can do:

Keep your eyebrows well-groomed.

Trimming helps a ton, but I would suggest leaving that to a professional. The last thing you want is to go from full brows, to no brows! Having regular brow waxes ensures that your beautiful caterpillars (and trust me they are beautiful!) get the attention they need.

Pick up a brow gel.

Brow gels come in a variety of colors from clear, all the way to the darkest brown. My personal favorite that we carry is from RevitaLash. They come in soft brown or dark brown, but the color is so natural in both shades and easily wipes off within the first couple of minutes before it sets, in case you put too much in a certain spot.  This gel holds even the coarsest of brow hairs perfectly in place all day long without smearing or smudging. If you have darker brows, or are just afraid of putting color on your brows all together, using a clear gel is a great option. Jane Iredale makes just such a product!
