Some people are born with hair that looks like it’s straight out of a shampoo commercial, and some, well, are jealous of that. One question I get from guests all the time is how to easily add volume to fine and/or thin hair without help from a blow dryer.
As a product expert with fine hair, I’ve found three products—all available at Cole’s Salon—that will help boost those locks without the damaging effects from heat. So whether you’re looking for an almost-out-the-door volume boost or something that can actually plump up your hair’s follicle to make each strand thicker—here are my top three solutions.
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
This is a 2-in-1 dry shampoo and texture spray. It is an invisible dry hair spray that gives incredible volume all over. However, if you have really dry or fine hair, I would suggest staying away from spraying this in your ends. I have fine, blonde hair and I use this strictly at my root because the texture in my ends can be too much and leave me feeling extra dry.
Bumble and bumble Thickening Dryspun Texture Spray
This one is also a dry texture spray but it isn’t a dry shampoo. It is more airy though and I find I can use this all over my hair without feeling too much texture. Spray anywhere you would like to see more lift and volume in your hair!
Oribe Swept Up
A root lift powder that instantly adds buildable grip and style where you want it. It has a targeted, non-aerosol spray that keeps what would typically be a messy loose powder controlled. Section your hair out where you need more volume, spray at your root and massage in! A little really does go a long way with this one.
