It’s that time of year again—our Annual Appreciation Sale is underway! Every year we look forward to this sale because it’s the perfect opportunity to express our gratitude while allowing you to stock up on your favorite products. Through October 31, when you purchase product at any Cole’s Salon or online, you’ll receive a second identical product for half price*.
To celebrate, we gathered our service providers and asked them what products they love to stock up on during the sale. We also wanted to share some tips and tricks so that you can get the most out of this year’s sale. Read on to find new favorites and how you can score the best deal on products.
Tips and Tricks:
The sale is not limited to a certain product line or type.
That’s right, the Annual Appreciation Sale applies to hair, skin, body, nail, AND makeup products! So use this opportunity to get the things you know you are always using—like facial cleansers, shampoos and foundations.
Stock up on holiday gifts.
As hard as it is to believe, the holidays will be here before we know it. All too many times when one guest is stockpiling lotions and lip balms—announcing they have all their stocking stuffers taken care of—someone else watching says, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
Mix and match your makeup.
Yes, the fine print says that when you purchase your favorite product at Cole’s Salon, you’ll receive a second *identical product* for half price. But an insider tip is that when it comes to makeup, as long as you are getting the same type and brand of makeup (like two lipsticks, two eyeshadows, or two blushes), they can be different shades!

Sarah Burns, Burnsville:
I have two go-to products that I buy. Eminence Organics’ Apricot Body Oil is my favorite for everyday moisture and to relieve extra dry skin. Bumble and bumble Thickening Spray is my must-have styling product. Apply it before you blow dry for lift and volume. I can’t live without it!
Carolyn Anderson, Savage:
During the sale I like to stock up on my most used products. From Oribe I use the Dry Texturizing Spray for building in texture and Superfine Hair Spray for an ultra-dry finish. From Bumble and bumble I love their Sunday Shampoo to reset my scalp each week and Thickening Spray before I blow-dry. I am also always in need of Prevention+ daily hydrating moisturizer with SPF from IMAGE Skincare.
Julie Norstedt, Burnsville:
Without a doubt, my favorite product is Oribe Imperial Blowout Transformative Styling Crème! Everyone needs biotin at their scalp. Biotin keeps your scalp healthy and allows tiny hairs to build up strength to grow long. For a beautiful blowout look while nourishing your scalp, the price cannot be beat!
Kellie Reiner, Eagan – Cedar Cliff:
My top two products are Bumble and bumble Save the Day Daytime Protective Repair Fluid and Oribe Swept Up Volume Powder Spray. The repair fluid moisturizes and restores health to my hair daily. It’s lightweight, so I just use two pumps on damp hair after washing. It always yields amazing results. The powder spray gives instant volume, lift and texture while styling hair. It works great on cowlicks and fine hair to add fullness. It lets me restyle my hair throughout the day without needing more product. A little goes a long way, so I use short pumps of product on problem areas.
Sena Sebion, Eagan – Eagan Station:
During the sale I love to stock up on my everyday favorites! I always get Oribe’s Gold Lust Repair and Restore Shampoo and Conditioner and Supershine Moisturizing Cream. From Bumble and bumble, I restock on All-Style Blow Dry, and Glow Thermal Protection Mist. I go through these quickly because they are part of my daily morning routine and keep my hair moisturized and protected from heat styling. I also use the sale to kick off Christmas shopping every year for my family! Everyone always appreciates a good shampoo!
Kelly Weber, Savage:
I have a few Annual Appreciation Sale “can’t live withouts.” For my face it’s RevitaLash’s Advanced Conditioner, to help lengthen and strengthen my lashes and IMAGE Prevention+ Daily Tinted Moisturizer with SPF, for daily skin protection and a little bit of color! For my hair I get Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, to give my hair texture so it doesn’t feel like freshly washed, fine hair, Oribe Serene Scalp Thickening Treatment Spray, to help strengthen and provide fullness and Bumble and bumble All-Style Blow Dry, to absorb oils so I can enjoy day-two and day-three hair.
