3 Ways to Style Up the Season

‘Tis the season of holiday shopping, gatherings with family and friends, office parties and other festivities. But if you’re time-strapped, it’s not always easy to find ways to put a little extra sparkle into your look. Here are a few ways you can make it happen quickly and easily!

For Shopping: The Casual Side Braid

'Tis the season of holiday shopping, gatherings with family and friends, office parties and other festivities. Get some holiday style tips from Molly Hiller of Cole's Salon!
This look is perfect for the on-the-go day, shopping on 50th and France or elsewhere.  We all have busy schedules—and with all those recipients on your gift list, you’ll want to make the most of your days off! But that doesn’t mean you want to sacrifice style. The side fish tail braid takes only a few minutes to do and you will feel super-stylish while Christmas shopping.

For Parties:  Bows & Accessories

We all know December is party season and who doesn’t want to dress up your look when attending all of your holiday gatherings?!  Try adding a sequins headband, or a bow to a half ponytail, and your glammed-up look will leave you feeling gorg.

For Always: LIPS, LIPS, LIPS

As much as I am a hair junkie, I LOVE me some lipstick.  You can find me wearing  bold color most days, but I do love a good nude or sheer gloss on my days off.  Lipstick adds a finished look to any style—and this time of year is perfect to rock your favorite shade of red. Even if you do nothing else to put some sizzle in your style this season: Lacquer those lips!
