Your Ultimate Guide to Eyebrow Lamination

It’s the hot new treatment that everyone wants to try and the two words on every brow enthusiast’s lips: brow lamination. The results speak for themselves—delivering fuller-looking brows without the need for your best brow makeup products.

But how does brow lamination work? How long does it last? And are you stuck with the look once you’ve been laminated? Here’s my deep-dive into the buzziest of buzzy beauty trends:

What Brow Lamination Is

Brow lamination involves straightening and lifting the hairs using a chemical solution, which allows the hairs to have more flexibility to move them into your desired shape, therefore covering any gaps or stray areas. It’s like a perm, but without curling. After your natural brow hairs are straightened, a solution is applied to keep the hairs straight. At Cole’s, we finish this service with a wax and tint to really complete the transformation. The result is fuller-looking brows that stay in place when brushed into shape, lasting around six weeks.

Look at this before (on the left) and after (on the right)!

Who It’s Good For

This service is great for most brows. I have done this on more sparse brows as well as naturally fuller brows and have enjoyed the result both ways. The only brow type we cannot do it on would be brows that naturally point down towards your eye, versus laying flat. This is because we don’t want to cause any breakage with the hair going the opposite direction.

This is a great way to really lift your brows and change up your typical look, and is also fully customizable to each and every guest. I love this service and look forward to doing many more! Book a consultation if you’d like to talk through the process.
